Project Summary: The project aims to reconstruct and expansion the existing single-carriageway road into a dual carriageway from Dry Dock Hwy intersection and Amwaj Ave, providing improved access to all surrounding residential areas.
The project included the construction of an intersection with traffic lights, a roundabout, bus stops and a pedestrian crossing, along with safety fencing along the central reservation and paved pedestrian crossing , as well as the installation of a rainwater drainage system and a lighting network in collaboration with the Electricity and Water Authority. It also involved the installation of underground utility ducts and the implementation of road safety measures, such as the installation of traffic lights and road signs to ensure the safety of road users.
