Project Summary: The project aims to reduce journey times by providing a direct, fast and easily accessible route. It will also help to improve traffic flow by facilitating the movement of citizens and residents to and from their homes, as well as increasing capacity and creating a safe environment for road users.
The project involved expansion Janabiyah Hwy to three lanes in each direction over a length of approximately 4 kilometres, including the relocation and protection of services along the road, and the reconstruction of the street's infrastructure, comprising the installation of a rainwater drainage network, the construction of service roads and car parks in available spaces, as well as the installation of traffic safety barriers, the installation of road traffic and warning signs, and some road beautification works.
