Project Summary: The project includes the construction of a road with two lanes in each direction linking Hunainiyah Ave and Al Muaskar Hwy over a length of 3.4 km. It connects Hunainiyah Ave from the north to transfer traffic to Al Moaskar Hwy to the south, with the creation of new intersections, provision of side pavements, construction of a rainwater drainage network, improvement of lighting levels, and provision of traffic safety requirements, in addition to providing a treated water line for landscaping and irrigation.
The project aims to provide additional access points for users of the Hunainiyah area, East Riffa, and surrounding areas, and to reduce congestion in the area. The project will serve residents of the Hunainiyah Housing Project, in addition to a number of service institutions in the area.
