Contractor: CELLMEC W.L.L.
Project Summary: The project is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by the Ministry to improve treatment processes, which will enhance the environmental conditions of Tubli Bay and mitigate odor issues emanating from the Tubli Sewage Treatment Center.
The plant will be capable of producing approximately 45 tonnes per day of dry sludge. Treatment processes at the Tubli Sewage Treatment Center will be significantly improved, resulting in treated wastewater that, in most cases, complies with standard specifications in terms of physical and chemical parameters.
The project will contribute to improving the quality of biological treatment processes, enabling operators to control the quantities of sludge allocated for biological treatment. This will enhance the efficiency of these processes and improve the quality of the resulting secondary treated water, particularly with respect to concentrations of organic matter and ammonia.
