Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs& Urban Planning wishes to announce to the public, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, as part of Bahrain International Airport Expansion necessitate the following:
· Full closure of Road 2403 between Airport Roundabout and Departure Roundabout.
The traffic coming from Airport Avenue towords Airport roundabout will be diverted to Kalifa Al Kabeer Highway , make a U-Turn at Falcon junction and then make a right turn to the road leading to Movenpick Hotel .
· The mentioned works also necessitate closure of the entrance and exit to the parking area in front of the airport . Alternative entrance and exit will be provided accordingly.
The closure will be effective from Friday 08/2/2019 for a period of 7 months.
All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
