E-Participation
The Ministry of Works aims to enhance the quality of its services and infrastructure in the Kingdom of Bahrain through continuous communication with you, listening to your feedback and evaluations on all aspects of the work and performance of the services provided. To achieve this goal, the ministry is keen to provide several channels that allow users to communicate effectively with it.
E-Participation Policy
The E-Participation Policy highlights the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to focusing on providing means for e-participation and enhancing social media communication channels, as well as making a qualitative shift towards the use of e-participation tools. This policy also emphasizes the importance of the government's integrated approach to establishing, applying, monitoring, reviewing, and updating the e-participation framework, which ultimately leads to achieving the Kingdom's vision of continuing economic development and building a better life for every Bahraini citizen. The main purpose of the E-Participation Policy is:
- • Achieving Transparency and Openness: Ensuring greater transparency in government operations and infrastructure projects.
- • Encouraging Participation and Innovation: Motivating citizens to submit suggestions and ideas for improving the services provided by the ministry.
- • Supporting Laws and Guidelines: Developing rules and principles that regulate e-participation and enhance the performance of services.
- •Raising Awareness: Increasing public awareness and knowledge about the importance of e-participation in enhancing and developing infrastructure.
Decision-Making through E-Consultation
E-participation channels have been established to enable effective and transparent participation, giving the public the opportunity to contribute their constructive feedback, comments, and suggestions on the ministry's services and projects. This public participation is later used as a foundation for any decision-making, planning, and prioritizing of infrastructure projects. The public can submit suggestions or complaints through the
National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul) or the Tawasul App.
E-Participation Channels
E-participation channels represent an important tool for enabling citizens to provide their feedback and comments on the ministry's projects and services. Through these channels, suggestions and feedback are collected that contribute to improving performance and guiding policies for the development of future projects.

Communicate with the Ministry through Multiple Channels
At the Ministry of Works, we are keen on opening various communication channels to ensure easy access for citizens, responding to their feedback and evaluations continuously, and supporting the achievement of the best level of services for infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
As part of the Ministry’s commitment to transparency, community engagement, and digital governance, e-consultations have been effectively utilized to gather feedback and input from stakeholders and the public on a number of initiatives, policies, and services.
We are pleased to highlight that several of these consultations have directly contributed to new decision-making, as well as the development or improvement of certain public services. The outcomes of these consultations serve as clear evidence of the Ministry’s dedication to aligning its decisions with the needs and expectations of stakeholders, in line with national digital transformation objectives.
