Eng. Sh. Mishaal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, received a delegation from the Republic of Singapore as part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of infrastructure, and to learn about Singapore's pioneering experiences in developing road networks and implementing advanced engineering projects.

During the meeting, ways of cooperation and the exchange of expertise were discussed, along with global best practices in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, as well as a review of Singapore's experience and the successes it has achieved, which have contributed to improving traffic efficiency and enhancing the quality of services provided.

The Singaporean delegation was also briefed on Isa Town Northern intersection development project, where the project's implementation phases and objectives were outlined, focusing on enhancing traffic flow and improving road safety, in line with urban development requirements and to serve road users.​

Both sides emphasised the importance of such meetings in supporting the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and in promoting the application of successful experiences, thereby contributing to the development of future projects and the achievement of sustainable development goals in the infrastructure sector.
