The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, announced the operation of 42 new parking meter machines in the Diplomatic Area to regulate the use of parking spaces and enhance traffic flow. The initiative will improve parking availability across the area's 546 parking spaces, allowing a greater number of visitors and road users to benefit from the facilities.
The ministry stated that the new parking meters offer multiple payment options, including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and cash payments, providing users with a more convenient and flexible parking payment experience.
The Ministry of Works urged all motorists to comply with the designated parking durations and the posted instructions and regulations to ensure the optimal use of parking spaces and maximise availability for visitors and service users.
The ministry affirmed that this initiative forms part of its ongoing efforts to enhance parking services, improve the efficiency of parking management, and further elevate the quality of services provided to road users.
