​Eng. Ahmed Sami Al-Tajer, the AUS for Roads at the Ministry of Works, received Mr Zhongjing Wang, the CEO of the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance.

During the meeting, the AUS for Roads emphasised the importance of continuing to strengthen joint cooperation between the Ministry of Works and the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance, and exchanging expertise in the field of infrastructure, particularly road networks, thereby contributing to raising the quality of projects in line with the best international standards. He highlighted the initiatives and programmes implemented by the Centre to support connectivity projects and the quality of investments in countries across the region.

A review was also conducted of the most significant road projects currently underway in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as those scheduled for implementation in the coming phase, which form part of a series of government programmes aimed at supporting efforts to improve the efficiency of the road network and meet the requirements of urban development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
