Eng. Ahmed Sami Al-Tajer, the AUS for Roads at the Ministry of Works, confirmed that the Ministry has completed the rehabilitation works on Al Hidd Ave, which runs alongside Dry Dock Hwy on the western side, specifically the section extending from its intersection with Rd 210 to the north to Rd 816 to the south.
He explained that the project comes within the Ministry's ongoing efforts to develop the road network and enhance infrastructure efficiency, thereby improving road safety standards and meeting the needs of residential areas across the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasising the Ministry's commitment to continuing to implement its projects in accordance with the highest approved technical and engineering standards.
The AUS for Roads stated that the scope of the project covered blocks (102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 108), with works including the repaving of the aforementioned road, the construction of speed bumps, and the installation of traffic signages and markings along the route, thereby contributing to improving road quality.
He noted that these works form part of the Ministry of Works' plans aimed at enhancing traffic flow and achieving the highest levels of safety for road users, thereby serving the objectives of comprehensive development in the Kingdom of Bahrain
