HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office MP Salem Buqais, representative to the eighth constituency at the Northern Governorate, in the presence of Roads Assistant Undersecretary Huda Fakhro, Media and Community Service Head Hafedh Abdulghaffar and Eng. Majed Sharaf from the Coordination & Follow-up Committee.

 

The Minister welcomed MP Buqais and commended the efforts extended by MPs in attending to citizens’ needs and requirements.

 

Buqais discussed a number of projects and services at the eighth constituency, including the causeway along Roundabout 18, the highway extending from Roundabouts 13 to 18, the revamp of Roundabout 22 Interchange with University of Bahrain Traffic Signal, which aims to alleviate traffic at the entrance to Block 1215. A number of parking spaces projects which MP Buqais previously requested were also highlighted.

 

At the end of the meeting, MP Buqais extended thanks to the Ministry of Works for their keenness to respond to citizens’ needs and their constant collaboration with MPs.
