HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office the Secretary General of the Career Development Forum in Kuwait Dr. Fahad Al Fadhala. Present in the meeting were also the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Ahmed Al Khayyat and Acting Public Relations & Media Director Hafedh Abdulghaffar.
The Minister expressed pleasure at having Dr. Al Fadhala, and commended the coordination between the gulf countries in enhancing communication and sharing experiences through such active participation. Dr. Al Fadhala expressed his enthusiasm towards the upcoming 3rd Competency Forum, which will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the first week of May, and will be patronized by HE the Minister of Works.
The forum will complement former forums that the Ministry of Works patronized; therefore reflecting the Ministry of Works’ keenness to develop the human cadre and enhance Bahraini competencies. The forum will also complement career development programs patronized by HE the Kuwaiti Prime Minister; established for the first time in 2001. The Minister Khalaf agreed to personally patronize the 3rd Competency Forum, and directed the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs to well prepare for the forum to guarantee an active participation for the Ministry of Works at the event. He also urged the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs to take all the necessary procedures at the Human Resources Directorate to make this forum a success.
