MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry will soon complete the revamp of Sehla roads, for which the Directorate is presently coordinating with Service Divisions to complete works prior to the implementation of asphalting works. ‘This is part of the Ministry’s plan to develop roads and infrastructure in various areas in the Kingdom,’ said Al Salah. ‘The Development of Villages in Bahrain is a program implemented in coordination with Municipal Councils. Sehla roads have been revamped at a cost of BD1,332,220 Million, and work was awarded to Down Town Company,’ he explained. New roads have been created in Block 934 in Sehla, and old deteriorated roads have been removed, in addition to paving works, upgrading the rainwater drainage network, connecting North Sehla Rainwater Drainage Network to South Sehla Network, lighting works and other related services.
