The Ministry of Works received a delegation from Al-Shabab Club Board of Directors based in Jidhafs, which included Club President Mr. Mirza Ahmed, Vice-President Mr. Amin Al Watani, Secretary-General Mr. Mohammed Saeed Al Ekri and Financial Secretary Mr. Mahmoud Al Kamil.

The delegation was received by Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah and Roads Planning & Design Director Kadhim Abdul Latif, where they discussed projects to be implemented by the Ministry in the club vicinity; particularly the opening of Budaiya Highway and Tashan Avenue Interchange, which is listed within the Ministry’s Program for 2012.

The Ministry’s officials and the delegation highlighted a number of scenarios to implement entry and exit points along the highway leading to the club, emphasizing the need to expedite the opening ofBudaiya Highway and Tashan Avenue Interchange, which in turn will ease the movement of buses transferring players and guests to the club instead of having to take a turn at the entrance of Sanabis (Avenue 6) and back to the club.
