Ministry of Works’ Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the number of users for roads electronic complaints decreased from 92 users in June to 22 users in July. This was gathered from the monthly statistics prepared by the Ministry of Works on the electronic services provided through both the electronic government website www.bahrain.bh and the Ministry’s website www.works.gov.bh.

‘This kind of service allows citizens and other organizations such as the General Traffic Directorate to report any damage related to roads, infrastructure and traffic engineering,’ said Al Salah. ‘The complainant can deliver his complaint to us by filling an electronic form on the problem, which is then transferred to the Roads Projects & Maintenance Directorate to the necessary action,’ ‘Once this is done, a number is given to the report for follow up. An SMS and email are also sent to the complainant to update him on his request/complaint. This service is available on both the electronic government website www.bahrain.bh and the Ministry’s website www.works.gov.bh.’ added Al Salah.
