In an attempt to keep a closer eye on citizens’ needs and find proper solutions to various problems, in coordination with all concerned parties, a team from the Sanitary Engineering Directorate at the Ministry, aided by Human Resources’ Health & Safety Section, used pest control in Tubli; close to the Sewage Treatment Plant.

The operation was performed with the assistance of a specialized company in pest control; aiming to eliminate flies and insects that spread following rains and flooding at the plant. Pesticide was used inside and outside the plant, including a number of establishments and ministries. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the operation, it was done over different steps that took 24 hours overall.
