HE the Minister of Works Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, accompanied by HE the General Director of General Directorate of Resources & Information Systems Sh. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, visited the new Survey & Land Registration Bureau building in Seef District to inspect progress in the project. Present in the visit were General Director of Land Registration Mr. Naji Sabt, MoW’s Undersecretary Nayef Omar Al Kalali, Assistant Undersecretary for Construction Projects Mohammed Hussain Al Mubarak, Strategic Projects Direvtor Ghazi Al Saleh and a number of engineers involved in the project.
The Minister Khalaf stressed the importance of the project, considering its important role in serving citizens when it comes to survey and land registration matters. The new BD13,601,500m building, covering an area of 24400 square metres, is being implemented based on state-of-the-art systems and technologies, which contribute effectively to facilitating survey and land registrations services for the people of Bahrain. The fully equipped building consists of 12 storeys, in addition to 32 parking spaces for VIPs, and another parking lot with a capacity of 320 spaces.
