​His Excellency Engineer Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, received His Excellency Mr. Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, the Minister of Works affirmed the mutual commitment to further strengthening the historic relations of cooperation and the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United Kingdom across various fields, particularly in the infrastructure sector, in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.

His Excellency commended the ambassador's efforts in enhancing bilateral relations and wished him success in his future assignments.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Works for his commitment to further strengthening the close and distinguished relations between the two friendly countries and advancing them towards broader horizons in the interest of their shared objectives. He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.​
