​The Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Asma Murad stated that the Ministry has completed the implementation of the sewerage network in Demistan Block 1019, where 24 housing units were connected to the network.

Murad explained that the project comprises of extending 1006m of main connections and 315m sub-connections, constructing 50 inspection chambers for both the main and sub-connections.

The BD195,000 project was awarded to Abdul Hadi Al Afu.
