HE the Minister of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office the Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Khalifa Al Mansoor and Chief of Coordination & Programs Department at HE the Minister’s Office Mrs. Khadija Al Hashimi, where he congratulated both on getting the Royal Insignia from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
 
The honoring of Al Mansoor and Al Hashimi was part of Bahrain’s National & Accession Day celebrations, which was also attended by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and a number of senior officials in the Kingdom.
 
The Minister Khalaf extended thanks to the Leadership for their generous gesture in honoring loyal and hardworking citizens, who have contributed with their efforts to all National Work fields. During the meeting, which was attended by Ministry’s Undersecretary Eng. Waleed Al Saei, both honorees expressed pride at being honored by HM the King.
 
 They also commended the support extended to them by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning. Eng. Khalifa Al Mansoor joined the Ministry in 1973, where he held many important positions until he has become the Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering in July 2005, up until the present time.
 
 He has also had a leading role in implementing a number of strategies in the sanitary engineering field, the most important of which is the National Strategy for Sanitary Engineering (Vision 2030), which completed in 2010 and contributed to the implementation of many strategic projects like the operation of Muharraq STP, which was operated in April 2014.
 
 Mrs. Al Hashimi, on the other hand, started work at the Ministry in 1975, where she acquired a number of positions until she was appointed Chief of Coordination & Programs at the Minister’s Office since 2005 until the present time. She also participated in a number of training courses and joined various committees.
