HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office MP Abdul Rahman Bumajeed, representative to the 6th Constituency at the Capital Governorate. The meeting was also attended by Roads Planning & Design Director Eng. Kadhim Abdul Latif. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister commended the collaboration between the Ministry of Works, the Council of Representatives and the Municipal Councils.

 

During the meeting, MP Bumajeed requested the Ministry to improve entrances to Um Al Hassam area by acquiring additional lands to create more entrances to the area, especially near the housing project presently being implemented. The Minister explained that the Ministry is coordinating with other governmental departments to put these suggestions into effect. The Minister also highlighted other infrastructure projects, such as planning, revamping and maintaining roads, providing parking spaces and increasing safety levels.
