MoW’s Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary Khalifa Al Mansoor and Roads Assistant Undersecretary Huda Fakhro met with the team in charge of supervising Hatim Al Taei Avenue Revamp Project, to closely inspect progress in the project. At the beginning of the meeting, Al Mansoor stressed the importance of complete the deep drilling works related to the sanitary plan involved in the project, in addition to increasing work at night to put in place sewage network extension equipment and avoid any inconvenience to citizens. He also urged the team to re-consider the work schedule and establish a detailed program for implementation; aiming to reduce schedule. On her end, AUS Fakhro confirmed that the team of engineers belonging to the roads sector is ready to commence road works following the completion of sewerage works. ‘It is expected that asphalt layers will be implemented in the locations where sewerage works are completed,’ she explained.
