The Ministry of Works has recently participated in the MEET ICT 2013 Conference, which was held at the Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Centre under the patronage of HE the Minister of Transportation Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed.

 

The Ministry highlighted its experience in the field of green technologies, where the Head of ITD’s Database Group and Head of Green Technologies Project Mrs. Rana Mubarak presented a paper on the importance of green initiatives in the field of telecommunication and information technology. She also highlighted the Ministry’s application of green technologies in the construction and IT sectors; aiming to preserve the environment and save energy.
