Salmabad Primary School for Girls organized a visit to the Sanitary Engineering Planning & Projects Directorate at the Ministry of Works, as part of an awareness campaign aiming to highlight the importance of this sector. The students were received by Sanitary Engineering Planning & Projects Director Asma Murad, Eng. Ban Najim Aldin, Ayda Sulaiman Al Ismaeili and Noora Musaifer. The team explained to the students the services delivered by the directorate, its divisions and staff, the sector’s strategic plan and the most important projects implemented by the Ministry at the present, in addition to some photos indicating causes for sewerage flood. At the end of the visit, the school’s Supervisor Mrs. Khadija extended thanks to the Sanitary Engineering Directorate for providing the students with the opportunity to closely learn the functions of this vital sector. She also expressed her interest in similar future visits to encourage future generations to work in this sector as technicians and engineers.
