In line with the Ministry of Works’ keenness to increase the number of electronic services provided to citizens and residents aiming to save both time and effort, a new e-Service has recently been launched to evaluate products and materials on line. The new service can be reached through the e-Government portal www.bahrain.bh or the Ministry’s page www.works.gov.bh.

MoW’s Information Technology Director Hisham Satir revealed that the newly launched service targets MoW’s contractors and supervisors; aiming to facilitate and speed up the service-related procedures with the Materials Engineering Directorate. Through this service, users can electronically evaluate products and materials by filling in the related form. To do this, Satir explained that the client needs to upload certain documents and supporting samples from the Ministry’s page and then send them back filled in; for the Materials Engineering Directorate to address and the contractor to follow-up electronically.

‘Additional e-Services will be provided in the future, as part of the Ministry’s commitment to providing high quality services to citizens and clients from the various governmental organizations in Bahrain,’ said Satir.
