Manama-MoW- 14th Jan 2013: HE the Minister of Works Essam bin Abdulla khalaf received at his office MP Abdul Hakim Al Shammari; representative of District 7 at the Capital Governorate, where they particularly discussed needs in the Capital Governorate and also highlighted projects implemented by the Ministry of Works all over Bahrain. During the meeting, MP Al Shammari shed light on a number of suggestions and recommendations for the area, which mainly covered revamping and expanding some roads, one of which is Sogaya Avenue and its intersection with Amman Avenue traffic signal.

 

The area is experiencing increasing traffic movement due to the construction of 2 new malls. Al Shammari also suggested the expansion of King Abdul Aziz Highway Intersection with Amman Avenue and Abdul Rahman Kanoo Avenue, in addition to upgrading the sewerage network in District 7. At the end of the meeting MP Al Shammari extended thanks to the Minister and the Ministry of Works for their concern and continuous follow-up to the different projects related to all directorates at the Ministry.
