MOW’S ROADS PLANNING & DESIGN DIRECTOR: ‘750 THOUSAND VEHICLES ENTER THE CAPITAL EVERYDAY

MoW’s Roads Planning & Design Director Kadhim Abdul Latif revealed that the Ministry has completed the 2012 annual field survey on the roads network in Bahrain, where it turned out that 750,000 vehicles enter Manama every day; in comparison to 500,000 vehicles in 2008. ‘Manama attracts most traffic movement in the Kingdom, while Sh. Khalifa bin Salman Highway registered the highest traffic volumes in comparison to all other roads in Bahrain. 145,000 vehicles travel through Sh. Khalifa bin Salman Highway on a daily basis,’ said Abdul Latif.
