MoW’s Sanitary Engineering Operation & Maintenance Director Ebrahim Al Hawaj revealed that the Sanitary Engineering Reports & Complaints Centre (80001810) received 15613 reports during 2012, while the number of users accessing the sanitary services through the electronic government portal www.bahrain.bh and the Ministry’s web page www.works.gov.bh reached 76 users since the beginning of the year. ‘Manama registered the highest number of reports; with 3831 reports last year, 3358 of which were resolved. Muharraq came next with 3727 reports, 3016 of which were resolved. As for the Southern Governorate and Hamad Town, we received 3546 reports and resolved 2554 reports,’ said Al Hawaj. ‘The number of reports addressed to the centre from the Central Governorate reached 2340, 1872 of which have been addressed. The number of reports for the Northern Governorate reached 2238, 1888 of which were resolved,’ he added.
