MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry of Works has started the revamp of Al Bayina Avenue and Roads 2726 & 2727 in East Riffa; Blocks 925 and 927 at a cost of BD568,500. The project was awarded to Bahrain Motors and will take 16 weeks to complete.

 ‘The project comprises of the construction and revamp of Al Bayina Avenue and the surrounding roads, constructing a roundabout at the interchange of Roads 2727 and 2513, in addition to leveling works types (A) and (B),’ said Al Salah.

 ‘Works also include laying ground channels for present and future use, constructing parking spaces and pedestrian pavements, constructing a central reservation to separate traffic on both directions, implementing a rainwater drainage network, final asphalt and brick paving works, signage, lighting and other water and electricity related works.’ added Al Salah.
