MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry has begun revamp works on roads 2559 and 2513 in block 925 in Riffa, at a length of 1,150km. The BD618,568 project was awarded to Kingdom Asphalt W.L.L, and will take 36 weeks to complete.

 

Revamp works include leveling works; categories A & B, the creation of proper ground channels for present and future use, construction of parking spaces, pedestrian pavements and central reservation to divide traffic on both directions, final asphalting works, signage, painting and lighting works, in addition to all other related services; including the revamp of water and electricity infrastructure and removal of overhead wires.
