Ministry of Works’ Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry is to soon revamp Al Mazare Avenue in Jasra at a cost of BD698,812. Work comprises the revamp of Al Mazare Avenue from its intersection with Avenue 2 in Block 1002 in the north to the Zaid bin Omaira Intersection in the south; at a length of 5.7 km. Block 1002 consists of 204 residential units.
The project was awarded to Bahrain Motors and will take 30 weeks to complete. ‘The project includes re-asphalting and leveling the avenue to prevent water from gathering, revamping the damaged part of the avenue and reconstructing other parts, laying a new layer of asphalt and implementing new traffic signs,’ said Al Salah.
