Ministry of works has conducted its Final Strategic Business Review for the year2011 for the Roads Engineering Sector. The aim of the meeting was to review the performance of the strategic objectives and identify the gaps in performance so that the Ministry can cater for them during 2012 Business plan. This is a practice that is contributing to the big achievements and success that the Ministry has won during the past years and that has paved the way for its recognition as a leading professional organization providing quality service.

The forum was conducted at the Strategy Conference Hall at MOW, and was chaired by H.E. Engineer Essam Bin Abdulla Khalaf. The Minister has delivered brief concluding remarks, at which HE has applauded the Roads Engineering Sector’s performance and continuous achievement, even during the difficult time of 2011, and has stressed on the essential role that Strategic Business planning is playing across the Ministry. HE has also stressed his full support to the strategy- Aligned Performance Management at the Ministry and called for all units in the ministry to give their full commitment to the required strategic planning and review’s meetings and workshops. HE has concluded that” Strategic Business Planning & Management is our way to Excellence”.
