The Palladium Group is a USA-based collaboration, which is one of the world’s leaders in strategy planning, execution and management practices. It is the founder of the Balanced Scorecard methodology, which is one of the most recognized for its ability to execute strategy and achieve breakthrough results.
Rajaa’s honoring award came as a testimony to her professionalism and outstanding efforts in the field of strategy management, where she has showed full capability in developing, planning, executing, testing, adapting, and managing strategy. Her professional maturity is said to set inspirational standards to the strategy management practices.
Rajaa referred her success to the motivational working environment at Ministry of Works that has pushed her to go “the extra mile” to new horizons of excellence at all the ongoing strategic initiatives. She, further inferred, that her success is a continuation to the success of Ministry of Works in reaping the Hall of Fame Award during 2009. This Award has positioned Bahrain among the few leaders in the world that has excelled in strategy management and execution.
When asked about the most challenging issue in implementing strategy management, she confessed that the introduction of strategy management in any organization is a huge change management initiative, and that the most challenging part is in moving the Ministry from the traditional vertical way of work to the horizontal way, where staff across the Ministry would integrate and collaborate in reaching up to the common goals.
