HE the Works Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Ahmed Al Khayyat toured a number of areas in Hamad Town, accompanied by member of the Northern Municipal Council and representative to the 9th Constituency Khalid Ebrahim Qambar, where they discussed roads needs in Blocks 1205, 1209 and 1210 in Hamad Town.
During the tour, a number of issues were highlighted including the allocation of parking spaces nearby Hafsa bint Omar Mosque in Block 1205 in Hamad Town, amending the speed humps along Avenue 5 in Block 1205 and installing pedestrian traffic signals.
Mr. Qambar also proposed constructing a parking lot nearby the prayer cabin (Abdulla bin Awfi Mosque) located along Road 910 in Block 1209 and also in the empty space located along Road 1051 in Block 1210 in Hamad Town; opposite to the Majlis of Mohsin Al Arjani Sons.
