HE the Minister of Works. Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office a delegation from the Civil Society for National Unity, headed by the Society’s Chairman Khalid Al Manasir. The delegation also included Chairman of Hamad Town Charity Fund Yousif Al Mahmid, Secretary Khalifa Al Salama, chairman of the Civil Committee Ali Humood and members of the Broad of Directors Mohammed Al Thain, Adel Sharida Al Thawadi and Fawzi Naser Al Junaid. Present from the Ministry of Works were the Acting Roads Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Raed Al Salah, Chief of the Designs Department at the Sanitary Engineering Planning & Projects Directorate Eng. Muneera Kameshki, Media and Community Service Head Hafedh Abdulghaffar and Civil Engineer from the Coordination & Follow-up Committee Majed Sharaf. Chairman of the Society welcomed this meeting, which according to him is a valuable opportunity for both parties to enhance societal partnership between ministries and civil societies in the Kingdom. On his end, the Minister commended the society’s role and reiterated the importance of maintaining communication with civil society institutions and informing them about the Ministry’s projects. The meeting shed light on a number of roads and sanitary engineering related issues in Hamad Town, where the Minister emphasized that all issues and comments will be considered prior to implementation.
