MoW’s Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry completed the construction of the parking lot on Road 3445 in Block 734 in A’Ali, which commenced a year ago. ‘Work comprised of reconstructing Roads 3444, 3445 and the road leading to A’Ali Primary-Intermediate School for Boys; at the part located between Avenue 38 and Roads 3456 at a length of 943m, in addition to constructing a service road, parking spaces and pedestrian pavements along Road 3445,’ said Al Salah. ‘Works also included leveling works category A & B, laying of ground channels for present and future use, creating a rainwater drainage network, final brick and asphalt paving works, signage, painting and lighting,’ added Al Salah.
