HE Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Minister of Works discussed at a meeting with Mr. Abdul Razaq Abdulla Hattab, Central Municipal Area Council Chairman several topics related to the requirements of different constituencies in the Central Area. These issues included the development of Al Dibel Road, Bushaheen Road, Noon Road, Al Ezel Road and Road 1311.

 

They also discussed the tendering of a sanitary drainage contract for Blocks 746 and 748. During the meeting, Mr. Hattab proposed projects that included the installation of traffic lights at the Bokowara Road, Block 913 with access to Road 1329 from Riffa Road and access to Road 1723 from Riffa Road, Another set of traffic lights was proposed to be installed on the junction of Noon Road with Umm Na’assan Road. The Municipal Chief requested maintenance works for Block 913 including the Roads to Block 914 (1401 – 1411), Block 915, Block 916 (Road 1619 + parking lot at Al Ala’a Al Hadhrami Mosque), and Block 921. Discussions between the two officials included the development of Blocks 917, 918, 920 and 926.
