HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf visited the Building Maintenance Directorate in Muharraq, accompanied by Ministry’s Undersecretary Waleed Al Saei, Assistant Undersecretary for Construction Projects & Maintenance Mohammed Hussain Al Mubarak, and Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Ahmed Al Khayyat, where they were greeted by Acting Building Maintenance Director Huda Mirza, Head of Maintenance Supervision Eng. Abdul Ghani Abdul Rasool and a number of officials from the directorate.

 

The Minister commended the role of the Building Maintenance Directorate in the maintenance of government schools through the regular visits aiming to determine needs and requirements and use the summer holidays to implement maintenance works. Eng. Huda Mirza extended her thanks to HE the Minister and the Top Management for their constant support to the Building Maintenance Directorate.

 

‘The work implemented by the Building Maintenance Directorate is highly important and is considered to be more than just building construction, as it exceeds that to providing complete building maintenance,’ said the Undersecretary Al Saei. The Minister Khalaf concluded his tour by visiting the different sections and departments at the Directorate.
