The Ministry of Works launched ‘Knowledge Manual’, which is the first manual of its kind to indicate the whereabouts of experts and the type of knowledge assets that each one of those experts is responsible for at the ministry. This initiative aims at providing a speedy and accurate search of such assets at all directorates and units at the ministry.

The manual is seen as a highly important guidance to achieve excellence when applying knowledge management approach; in line with international measures and values adopted by the Bahrain Centre for Excellence.

On this occasion, HE the Minister of Works Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received at his office Construction Projects & Maintenance Assistant Undersecretary Mohammed Hussain Al Mubarak, who presented the Minister with a copy of the manual. Al Mubarak explained means of documenting all knowledge assets so nothing gets lost in the future. This also aims to improve performance in different projects and related services.
