MoW’s Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering Khalifa Ebrahim Al Mansoor inspected the sanitary project being implemented on Avenue 23 in Tubli, in the presence of project manager Eng. Pan Najm Al Dein and the technical team supervising the project from the ministry, project consultant EM Consulting and the company in charge of implementation, Frisch & Faust Tiefbau.

During the visit, Al Mansoor inspected works involved in the project, which include the upgrade of 6000m of 400 millimeters in diameter pipes, from D1 station to Tubli Sewage Treatment Plant in Isa Town. The BD1,691,362m works commenced in 15/8/2011 and will take 3 months to complete, using Calibrated Pipe Bursting Techniques for the first time. The project is part of the overall BD2,959,872m sewage networks upgrade works being implemented all over the Kingdom.

Al Mansoor, together with Consulting EM and Frisch & Faust Tiefbau, discussed ways of implementing sewage upgrade works and therefore increasing the capacity of the conveyance system from 20,400 to 34,000 cubic metres a day.
