With a deep sense of grief and loss, the Ministry of Works received yesterday, 3rd November 2009, the devastating news of Jamil Al Sharif's death, the Public Relations & Media Consultant from Hill & Knowlton.

His death is a profound loss for all staff at the Ministry, and everybody who has known him during his life, for he was an extraordinary father, husband, friend and colleague.

During his work at Hill & Knowlton and the Ministry of Works, Jamil Al Sharif contributed considerably to developing and enhancing the concept of Public Relations & Media, through his dedication, high sense of commitment, perseverance, aspirations and the genuine desire to truly make a change in the places he's been at and the lives of people around him.

Today, our thoughts and prayers are with his loving wife and two children, and to all his family, relatives, friends and colleagues.
