The project is designated as “opening of roads” but it is a combination of re-constructing the roads in the small, old Jurdab Village and constructing some new roads, which were not paved before. All roads are block paved wall –to- wall and there is a storm water drainage system.
Also other works included in the project are the undergrounding of the old overhead electricity distribution network and the provision of new street lighting, while the Water Distribution Directorate has a scheme to replace their water pipeline network in conjunction with the road project. The total length of roads are1.04 lane-km.
