Ministry of Works, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, announces that the improvement works of Highway 96 at Southern Governorate necessitate full closure of the Highway between Sitra Avenue and Avenue 49, and the traffic movement will be diverted to surrounding roads.
The closure will be effective starting from Tuesday 22/09/2026 for a period of one month. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
