Ministry of Works, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, announces that as a part of the laying of electrical cables for the Electricity & Water Authority on Wali Al Ahd Highway at Riffa necessitate closure the slow lane between Military Hospital Junction and Riffa Clock Roundabout and two lanes will be provided for the traffic movement.
The closure will be active during weekdays in the evening period from 06:00 PM to 05:30 AM and on Fridays the closure will be active for 24 continuous hours for a period of two and a half months starting from Friday 18/09/2026. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
