Ministry of Works, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, announces that the improvement works of Sh. Mohammed Avenue at Muharraq Area necessitate full closure of the avenue between Sh. Abdulla Avenue and Sh. Hamad Avenue, and the traffic movement will be diverted to the surrounding roads.
The closure will be effective starting from Friday 18/09/2026 for a period of one month. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for safety of all.
