The Roads Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning and Chairman of the Coordination & Follow-up Committee Eng. Huda Fakhro visited Muharraq's 2nd Constituency, in the presence of Chairman of Muharraq Municipal Council and representative to the constituency Mohammed Al Sinan and a number of engineers from the Ministry.
During the visit, Al Sinan requested changing the direction of Sh. Duaij Avenue in Block 205 in order to alleviate congestions, providing 2 central reservations along Road 916 in Block 209, constructing parking pavements along Road 427 and 431 in Block 204, providing additional parking for visitors to North Muharraq Health Center, sorting traffic movement along Road 916 and Road 917 and finding solutions for wrong parking near Sheikh Isa Al Khalifa Primary School for Boys in Block 209.
Fakhro commended the role of municipal councils in accommodating citizens' needs and conveying their needs and requests to the officials concerned. She also directed the concerned engineers at the Ministry to study all applications and look into the possibility of implementing them once the approval of other service entities is obtained.
