Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Eng. Asma Murad revealed that the Ministry has commenced work on the sewerage network in Muqaba Block 517; aiming to connect 52 residential units to the network.
Murad explained that the project is part of a complete scheme put in place by the Ministry to improve sewerage services at the Northern Governorate.
According to Murad, the project comprises of the extension of 680m long main connections and 727m long sub-connections and the construction of 105 inspection chambers.
The BD184,909,300 project was awarded to Abdul Karim Al Jahrami Contracting.
