Information Technology Director at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Hisham Sater revealed that the Ministry has launched a new eService to be added to the 10 eServices available on the Ministry's portal www.works.gov.bh. The new service; named Road Level eService, allows individuals and engineering offices to receive the present or future road level for the road prior to the construction of any building or resident. This also helps prevent the occurrence of any problem after the construction of the building is complete, such as water gathering in front of the building or vehicle damage resulting from difficulty in entering and exiting the garage.

The service can be activated by filling in the form available on the Ministry's website and downloading the needed documents the Works Affairs portal. A formal certificate of the road level is later sent by email.

The Ministry organized a number of workshops and training sessions for engineering offices to teach them how to use the new service and thus ensure optimum benefit of the service. Also, a film on the use of the service has been prepared and uploaded on the Ministry's various social media accounts Bahrain_works.

The Ministry announced that it will begin to receive road level requests electronically via the newly launched service.
