WORKS MINISTER INSPECTS THE SANITARY PROJECT IN NABIH SALEH

HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf toured the Sanitary and Storm Water Drainage Project in Nabih Saleh, accompanied by Sanitary Engineering Planning & Projects Director Eng. Asma Murad, Chief of Constructions Section Eng. Dawood Khalaf and Project Manager Naser Montaser. Khalaf explained that the visit aims to closely follow-up project implementation and inspect progress in the project, and also acknowledge all the obstacles facing the project in order to overcome them and continue work with less inconvenience to the residents.
 
The Minister also reiterated the importance of the project, explaining that it will connect all houses in Nabih Saleh to the main sewerage network, in addition to implementing a storm water drainage network. The total length of pipes involved in the project is expected to amount to 26km, while the number of houses to be connected to the network is approximately 400 houses. The project, which will serve Blocks 380, 381 and 382, also comprises of one pumping station. The BD4,740,178/493 project is now 60% complete, and was awarded to Jalal Al A’Ali & Sons. Work commenced in September, 11, 2011 and implementation is supervised by M.W.H Khonji.
