His Excellency Eng. Issam Bin Abdullah Khalaf, Minister of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning, received HE Abdullah bin Rashid Al Madelawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the relations between the two brotherly countries and praised the ambassador's efforts to enhance these ties in various fields. He also noted the high level of relations between Manama and Muscat.
HE discussed activating memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries in the field of agriculture and fish farming. Both parties also agreed to prepare for a memorandum of understanding in the field of municipalities and roads.
For his part, the Omani ambassador expressed his sincere thanks for the support he is receiving in Bahrain. He affirmed the keenness of the leadership in the Sultanate of Oman to strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain within the system of integration between the GCC countries.
His Excellency the Minister of Works expressed his sincere wishes to the Omani Ambassador to succeed in his duties for the benefit of the two countries.
